Not every thought has to be deeply profound.  In fact most are not but serve a utilitarian purpose.  For instances there’s a whole series of thoughts that go into grocery procurement.  Not least of which is making one’s selections.

Likewise the question what to write about is a decision process.  I do have certain tendencies in the process.  Algorithms is one way to approach things.  A series of steps in completing a task.  It’s sort of basic but I think it’s a more common word in computer science.  I tend to think algorithmic thinking and awareness tends to be a good thing.  You have to find what works for you but thinking in stages on longer ranging tasks like investing is probably what you already do.  Being aware of it might allow you to develop it further.

For many years I used to practice a social media writing style.  I was aware I was a practitioner of a certain literary approach called Stream of Consciousness.  At the same time for years I’ve had a science fiction bouncing around my head.  I tend to think of the two activities separately at the time but now I’m thinking it might be interesting to do some SOC science fiction.  First though I’ll study it a bit.
